SELLERS:

In order to sell at the 2017 SLCHA Used Books Sale, you must be a current SLCHA member and you must preregister.  Simply register online. There is a $3 fee to sell and this also gets you “early bird” access.

Books may be dropped off anytime after 9 am on Saturday, April 8. Sellers will place their books on the tables in the displayed categories.  Registered sellers get “early bird” access to shop from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Our used books sale opens to the public at 10:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm.

Check in, and pay $3, when you arrive at the sale. At the end of the day, or whenever you need to leave, check out to collect your sale money. You will be given an envelope containing cash from your sales, and all the labels from your sold items. Please check this before leaving the sale.

All items for sale must be prepared PRIOR to your arrival.  Any unmarked items will be considered a donation to SLCHA.

Tape an index card, sticky note, or similar piece of paper to each item that contains:

  • Seller’s name
  • Seller’s phone number & email
  • Item Name
  • Price (mark in $1 increments)

Acceptable items include: books, curricula, classic literature, educational games, DVDs, CDs, maps, charts, art supplies, puzzles, software, etc.

If items are sold as a set, please bundle and label as a set indicating total number of items. Plastic bags, plastic wrap, and rubber bands work nicely.

Items that would be priced less than a dollar should be bundled with similar items to keep the pricing in dollar increments.

We reserve the right to refuse any items that we deem inappropriate. Please do not bring furniture or other large items.

We are not responsible for lost items.

Donations of books to SLCHA are gladly accepted. Please email evannduplantier@gmail.com if you have items to donate. Donated items must be delivered to St. Richard Catholic Church, during our Friday co-op hours, no later than 2 pm on Friday, April 7th.

Unsold items must be collected by 2:30 pm or whenever you leave for the day. Items left after 2:30 pm will be discarded.

SHOPPERS:

“Early bird” access to shop from 9:30 – 10:30 am is $3. Our used books sale opens to the public at 10 am and ends at 2:30 pm.

All sales are CASH ONLY. NO checks or credit cards. All sales are final.

Complimentary coffee will be available. The SLCHA Yearbook Committee will be on hand selling a variety of snack items & water. This is a fundraiser to help them cover yearbook costs.

Our Used Books Sale is designed for parents. Due to facility limitations and safety concerns, we ask that no children other than nursing infants accompany you to the sale.
