The St. Louis Catholic Homeschool Association fully supports our Holy Father, Pope Francis, as well as our Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski. St. Louis Catholic homeschool families are often active members of their parishes, participating in a wide range of parish activities including: altar servers, lectors, deacons, Eucharistic adoration, PSR, Pro-Life, choir, sports – including coaching, scouting, youth groups, men’s clubs, etc.
Catholic homeschooling families find that homeschooling enriches the practice of their faith both in the home (domestic church) and in the parish and public life of the Church. The right of parents to homeschool their children, especially in the critical area of religion, is guaranteed by Canon law and the St. Louis Archdiocese has been supportive of Catholic Homeschooling. Homeschooling families note with pride that several homeschoolers have gone on to the Archdiocesan seminary or are pursuing religious life in our diocese.
